Budget Hotels in Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls are located on the Niagara River which straddles the international border dividing New York, United States and Ontario, Canada. Being such a popular tourist destination, you know there are plenty of budget hotels in Niagara Falls. The falls are well known as the most powerful waterfall, and thus most popular to tourists, in North America. Niagara falls has long been renowned for its captivating beauty and the amount of hydroelectric energy it generates. The falls were created after the last ice age when glaciers receded and the Great Lakes, having just been formed, cut a path through the Niagara Escarpment heading in route to the Atlantic Ocean. The falls, on average, spill over 6 million cubic feet of water every minute and are surrounded my a multitude of attractions.

Niagara falls is divided in two: the Horseshoe Falls and the American Falls. Each other these sides have there own unique divisions consisting of smaller, yet just as beautiful, waterfalls. Aside from smaller falls, each half of the falls offers an array of attractions; balloon rides, whitewater rafting, towers, observatories, underwater elevators and caves, trails, national parks, and much more.

The HorseShoe Falls are located on the Canadian side of the Niagara River in the province of Ontario, just over an hour from Toronto. On this side there are several casinos and two major tourist areas: Fallsview Tourist Area and Clifton Hill. Most of the hotels on the Horsehoe Falls side are located in Fallsview, while the entertainment is located in Clifton Hill, a tourist promenade. Hotels hear range in a shape, size, and price. You can find anything from a hostel to a luxury suite in a casino. If casino breaks your budget and hostel is too rough, you shouldn't have any difficulties finding anything in between.
