Budget Hotels in Phoenix

Wouldn't it be nice if you could visit Phoenix and actually see a Phoenix? Unfortunately, the only thing you will see burning in Phoenix is your skin and the sun. Phoenix is the capital of Arizona, located in the American Southwest and is the largest capital city in the United States. Phoenix is a city that has a lot to offer; from picture perfect backdrops of mountains rising up from the desert valley to rich Native American and Hispanic history. Millions of people flock to Phoenix every year: including business travelers, families, and outdoor enthusiasts.

Phoenix's hotel industry isn't exactly what one might call "budget friendly". While the hotels in the are don't all have sky rocketing rates, the few that don't may be closer to a moderate price range. Phoenix is a large city with so much to see and do and so many places to stay. The best way to start your search is to pin point the areas of the city and the attractions that hold the highest importance and go from there. If you are in search of accommodations with the lowest rates possible for the area, the area near the airport is always good place to start. However, not all airport areas are worth the extra bucks you save. In some cities, the airport may be too far out of the way causing you to spend on transportation. Neighborhoods on the outskirts of the city will likely have lower rates than those closer to downtown. Ahwatukee Foothills is the southern most, urban neighborhood of Phoenix; Rio Vista is the northern most urban, neighborhood. Desert View is also a nice, urban area located between Rio Vista and the center of the city.

For suggestions, check out the following: Ramada Scottsdale on 5th Ave., located in Scottsdale has the lowest rates we could find for Phoenix; Crown Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort and Best Western Dobson Ranch Inn & Resort, both located in South Phoenix and near the airport offers moderates rates and a family, vacation environment; Extended Stay Deluxe Phoenix-Biltmore, located in central Phoenix and the Camelback Corridor offers moderates rates.
